Terms and Conditions of Sale
By using, or placing an order from this site you are acknowledging that you
have read, and that you understand and accept, the terms and conditions set
forth in this document entitled, "Terms and Conditions of Sale".
Acceptance of Orders
PcTokyo reserves the right to refuse or cancel an order at any time, for any
reason. Also, any automated or electronic order confirmation, by e-mail or
otherwise, does not indicate acceptance of an order.
Limitation of Liability
Under no circumstances is PcTokyo liable or responsible for any damages that
might occur from the use or misuse of any of our products sold, or supplied, to
any business or individual under any conditions, including (but not limited to)
to the following:
- Any economic consequential, or incidental, damages (including lost
profits or income, lost time or labor, or lost data)
- Loss of, or damage to any type of hardware/equipment, records, or data
- Any claims against you for damages from a third party
- Any type of personal injury
PcTokyo advises that all installations, or removals of (as well as any
modifications, adjustments, or upgrades to), our products, be made only by a
qualified technician.
One-Year Limited Warranty
For a period of one year from the date of original purchase, PcTokyo will
replace or repair any hardware product we've sold to you that has been proven to
be defective in workmanship or materials. New or refurbished, repair parts or
replacement products, will be provided by PcTokyo on an exchange basis.
The customer is responsible for freight charges to return the defective
product to us . This warranty does not cover any damage to products. Damage to
products includes, but is not limited to, damage that results from the improper
or incorrect installation, misuse, accident, abuse, incompatibility, disaster,
or any unauthorized disassembly, repair or modification.
Terms and Conditions of Warranty
PC Tokyo will repair any product with new or refurbished parts, free of charge,
in Japan from the date of
the original purchase for any defect in materials or workmanship as follows:
LABOR:
For a Period of one (01) year from the date of purchase, if our product is
determined to be defective.
If this is your case, PC Tokyo will repair or replace the Product bought from us,
at its option, at no charge or pay the labor charges to our Authorized Service
Facility. However, the Customer will be in charge of paying the labor charges
when this Warranty period ends.
PARTS:
Furthermore, PC Tokyo will supply, at no extra charge, new or rebuilt
replacements in exchange for defective parts for a Period of one (01) year.
After the period of ninety (90) days from the date of the purchase, labor for
removal and installation will be available at Customer's own expense.
Our one (01) year Warranty does not cover customer instruction, installation or
set-up adjustments. Likewise, this Warranty does not include Cosmetic damage or
damage due to acts of God, accident, negligence, misuse, abuse, commercial use,
or modification of, or to any part of our product by anyone other than our
Service Center.
The Warranty we give our products only covers problems due to defects in
materials or workmanship which occur during normal use. Therefore, it does not
cover any damage which happened in shipment or failures which are caused by
products not supplied by the Company or failures caused from mishandling,
misapplication, faulty installation, improper maintenance *, maladjustment of
consumer controls and/or line power surge.
To obtain Warranty Service, valid in Japan only, any proof of purchase in the
form of a bill of sale or receipted invoice, which is evidence that the unit is
within the Warranty Period, must be presented.
If the Serial Number is removed or altered from the Product, this Warranty
Service will be considered as invalid.
If for accepted circumstances the buyer is in
disagreement with PC Tokyo or unsatisfied with the computer or the service
provided by the PC Tokyo, the transaction could be retrieved. PC Tokyo will
reimburse the buyer with the market value ** of the exact same PC sold by PC
Tokyo in its precise condition it was delivered. PC Tokyo holds the decisive
rights on such a transaction.
Warranty is extended to the Original Buyer only
* This includes running the computer in above normal
working environments and failing to keep the interior free of extreme dust
gathering. Note! Dust could cause power surges.
** The market value of a PC is established by the cost
of an equivalent second hand computer with the identical or matching hardware
configuration on the open market.
Payment, Pricing, and Delivery
PcTokyo accepts Cash On Delivery and Bank Wire Transfer Payments only. We
require full payment in advance for all purchases. All in-stock orders will
generally ship within two business days, except for computer systems, which will
require typically 3-5 days, since they are built to order. Please check the "Availability"
on the product's details page. All prices are set at the time of purchase.
PcTokyo does not offer any form of price protection. All prices are in Japanese
Yen. Prices are frequently updated and are subject to change without notice. We
are not responsible for typographical errors with regard to price.
Cash On Delivery Orders
All Cash On Delivery (C.O.D.) orders are final once the customer clicked the
"Confirm Order" button on the last page of the Check Out process. As our systems
are Built To Order (B.T.O.) we do not accept any cancellation of orders once
they are placed. If the customer refuse to pay for the product once it arrives
the customer will be charged with 20% of the product value.
Bank Wire Transfer Orders
All Bank Wire Transfer Orders has to be paid in full and the money transfer
successfully received before we ship the product.
